79 CXR is a cruisy gay bar on Charing Cross Road and close to Old Compton Street. The bar is a pretty friendly place and attracts guys of all types, although very few young guys or women tend to hang out there. They have a late bar license all week. On the weekends there is often a DJ and they will charge around £3 to get in depending on the time. Outside seating is provided on the pavement during the summer.
